ABOUT UCL
UCL is a cricket platform designed to provide players with an organised and competitive pathway from registration and trials through assessment, selection and participation in the League.
UCL may conduct player trials, performance assessments, fitness assessments, selection camps, practice sessions, player selection/auction processes, matches, promotional activities and other cricket-related activities as determined by UCL.
UCL may involve former Indian, international or other recognised cricketers, coaches, selectors, officials, trainers, experts and other professionals in the assessment, development, management or presentation of the League.
Association with any particular cricketer, coach, selector, official, broadcaster, sponsor, venue or other third party is subject to their availability and applicable commercial and contractual arrangements and shall not constitute a guarantee of selection or participation.
ELIGIBILITY
To register for UCL trials, a Player must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
- The Player must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the applicable trial.
- For the relevant UCL season, the applicable upper age limit shall be as announced by UCL. Unless otherwise expressly notified by UCL, the current eligibility range is 18 to 50 years.
- The Player must provide valid and accurate identity and age-related documentation when requested by UCL.
- The Player must be physically capable of participating in competitive cricket activities.
- The Player must not be subject to any restriction, suspension, ban, court order or other legal restriction preventing participation in sporting activities.
- The Player must comply with all eligibility requirements, sporting regulations and other conditions communicated by UCL.
- UCL may prescribe additional eligibility conditions for particular stages of the League, including the Selection Camp, player auction, squad selection or matches.
UCL reserves the right to verify eligibility and documentation at any stage.
Providing false, incomplete, misleading, forged or materially inaccurate information may result in cancellation of registration, disqualification, removal from the selection process, forfeiture of applicable fees or benefits, and/or restriction from future UCL activities.
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION
Players from all States and Union Territories of India may register for UCL trials, subject to the eligibility requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
Registration from a particular State, Union Territory, city or trial location does not create any right or entitlement to selection.
UCL may conduct trials at multiple locations across India and may add, remove, combine, postpone or change trial locations depending upon operational requirements.
PLAYER CATEGORY
At registration, the Player may be required to identify their primary playing category, which may include:
- Batsman
- Bowler
- Wicketkeeper
- All-rounder
UCL may assess the Player in one or more disciplines irrespective of the category selected during registration.
The category stated by the Player does not guarantee that the Player will be assessed, selected or ultimately utilised in that role.
UCL, its selectors, coaches or authorised officials may determine the role or category in which a Player is assessed or considered based on the Player's demonstrated abilities and the requirements of the League.
REGISTRATION FEE
The applicable one-time registration fee for UCL trials shall be as displayed on the official UCL registration platform at the time of registration.
Unless otherwise notified by UCL:
- Batsman/Bowler: ₹1,999/- exclusive of applicable taxes, if any, as displayed at checkout.
- Wicketkeeper/All-rounder: applicable fee as displayed on the registration page.
The registration fee is a trial registration fee and is not a fee for guaranteed selection, employment, a place in a UCL squad, participation in the League, prize money, player remuneration or any other guaranteed benefit.
The registration fee is payable once per Player for the applicable trial/selection cycle unless UCL expressly announces otherwise.
ONE REGISTRATION PER PLAYER
Only one trial registration per Player shall be permitted for the applicable UCL selection cycle unless UCL expressly permits otherwise.
A Player must not create multiple registrations using different names, mobile numbers, email addresses, identity documents, cities, playing categories or other information for the purpose of obtaining multiple trial opportunities.
Where duplicate or multiple registrations are identified, UCL may cancel or consolidate such registrations and may disqualify the Player from the selection process.
Any duplicate registration made contrary to these Terms shall not create an entitlement to a refund.

- Technical ability
- Game awareness
- Fielding and match performance
- Consistency
- Positional requirements
- Squad composition
- Team requirements
- Available positions
- Selection Camp performance
- Player category

PLAYER SELECTION / AUCTION / ALLOCATION
UCL may use a points-based player auction or another player-selection/allocation mechanism for the relevant season.
Where an auction or allocation mechanism is used, Players may be assigned a category, base points, valuation or other applicable parameters in accordance with the rules announced for that season.
Team owners/franchise representatives or other authorised decision-makers may select Players in accordance with the applicable auction or allocation rules.
Participation in an auction or selection process does not independently guarantee a playing position in every match.
Final squad composition, playing XI, match participation and Player deployment shall remain subject to the applicable League rules and team requirements.
PLAYER FEES / COMMERCIAL TERMS
Where a Player is selected for a UCL season, any applicable player fee, remuneration, participation payment or other commercial consideration shall be governed by the separate player agreement or commercial terms issued by UCL.
The range is subject to the Player's selection, category, team allocation, applicable agreement and other terms.
Registration for trials does not create any entitlement to such payment.
PRIZE MONEY
The prize pool is subject to the official League structure, applicable rules and terms.
Any winning-team prize, runner-up prize, individual award or other prize shall be subject to the official UCL prize rules applicable to the relevant season.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a prize announcement does not constitute a guarantee that every Player will receive an individual monetary prize.
Any applicable taxation, statutory deduction or other legally required deduction may be made from prize payments.
UCL reserves the right to withhold, suspend or adjust prize payments where there is a legitimate dispute concerning eligibility, misconduct, match integrity, fraud, false information or violation of applicable UCL rules, subject to applicable law.
NO GUARANTEE REGARDING VENUE, BROADCAST OR EXPOSURE
UCL intends to conduct matches at international-standard cricket stadiums and may broadcast or stream matches through television and/or OTT platforms.
However, venue, broadcaster, OTT platform, production arrangement, commentary language, match schedule and media distribution may be subject to commercial, technical, regulatory, venue and other circumstances.
Accordingly, registration or selection does not constitute a contractual guarantee of:
- A particular stadium
- A particular broadcaster or OTT platform
- Television appearance
- Individual media exposure
- A particular match
- A particular playing position
- Any specific promotional opportunity
FITNESS AND MEDICAL DECLARATION
By registering and/or participating, the Player confirms that they are physically capable of undertaking competitive cricket activities.
The Player must disclose any material injury, medical condition or physical limitation that may reasonably affect safe participation.
UCL may require a medical certificate, fitness certificate, medical examination or other health-related documentation before permitting participation in any stage.
UCL may refuse or restrict participation where it reasonably considers that participation may create a significant safety risk to the Player or others.
The Player acknowledges that cricket involves inherent risks, including muscle injuries, strains, sprains, fractures, impact injuries, head injuries, heat-related illness, dehydration, falls, collisions, injuries from cricket balls, bats or equipment, and other sports-related injuries.
Participation is voluntary and the Player assumes the inherent risks associated with competitive cricket, subject to applicable law.
INSURANCE
Unless expressly communicated otherwise in writing, UCL does not represent or warrant that individual Players are covered by personal accident, medical, life or other insurance for participation in trials or League activities.
Players are responsible for arranging any personal insurance coverage they consider appropriate.
Where UCL provides event-specific insurance or accident coverage, the scope, exclusions, limits and terms of such insurance shall be governed by the relevant insurance policy.

CRIMINAL, DISCIPLINARY AND INTEGRITY DISCLOSURE
A Player must not knowingly conceal material information concerning criminal convictions, pending criminal proceedings involving serious offences, sporting bans, match-fixing or corruption-related proceedings, disciplinary sanctions, fraud, violence, sexual misconduct, harassment or other conduct materially relevant to participation in a professional or publicly presented sporting competition.

A violation may result in immediate suspension, disqualification, removal from the League, forfeiture of applicable benefits or prizes, and/or reporting to appropriate authorities.

No Player is entitled to selection through:

- Political or financial influence
- Personal connections

- Any other improper influence
Players and their representatives must not attempt to improperly influence selectors, coaches, officials, team owners or UCL management.

UCL expects all Players, officials, coaches, staff, volunteers, team representatives and other participants to maintain a safe and respectful sporting environment.
Sexual harassment, inappropriate physical contact, intimidation, stalking, bullying, discrimination or harassment of any nature shall not be tolerated.

MEDIA, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND BROADCAST RIGHTS
By registering for or participating in UCL trials, Selection Camps, matches, practice sessions, interviews, ceremonies or other UCL activities, the Player acknowledges and agrees that UCL and its authorised partners may photograph, film, record and otherwise capture the Player's participation.

Such use may include television, OTT, digital platforms, websites, social media, print, advertising, promotional films, highlights, documentaries and other media formats.

Nothing in this clause is intended to waive any right that cannot lawfully be waived.
